Jim, Your modest stage presence and generous personality on stage make you the coolest cat in the Levon Helm Band.
Your talent stood out on the crowded stage at Mountain Jam. Your fans know what your all about and that's why we love you. Thank's for keeping it real.

Loved seeing you and the rest of the band just light up the place at Levon's barn this past Saturday at the 70th birthday Ramble.  One of the highlights for me (there were many) was you and Larry trading leads in Black Friday!  Let me know when you get down to Crossroads Music in Cherry Hill NJ again, as I unfortunately was out of town last time you were in.  And if you want a good home-cooked meal when you are down here, my wife (also a big fan) is one helluva cook--we'd be glad to have you over!

First off I would like to thank Robin Hood for turning me on to your music. You are one hell of a guitar player. Do you and will you ever play anywhere near the Asheville NC area. If so you can bet I'll be there. When I have the spare bucks I'm going to purchase some of you Cd's. I'm really impressed.

Jim, Your Blues Project show at Towne Crier was terrific. You and David Sancious' guitars were spectacular.
John Conte (prisoners) on bass & Joe Bonadio drums made this a special show.
Please continue these Blues jams.
The set list(below) was great.
I'm sitting on top of the world.(blues)
Crossroads (Robert Johnston)
Man Cry (Jimmy Weider)
Remedy (Weider, Albert Colins)
Crazy Mama (We love you Rick)
Do You Feel Me (For Richard Bell)
Rolling & Tumbling (early blues)
Treat me the way you do (Willie Dixon)
I'm going back to the Border(blues)
A great, great blues show
See you at Mountain Jam.

Jimmy- you were ripping those solos all night in Tarrytown (w/ Levon).  Very nice mellow solo to Larry, Teresa and Amy singing "It Makes No Difference".  Can you dance like Levon?  See you in Montclair and Bethlehem.
